Hi there, I would like to purchase a battery for my MC024(A1297).
I have tried a replacement battery from an ebay seller. It was surely not a genuine one, and it only last for about 4 months.
Just wondering if the battery on sale (Product code: IF162-034) is originally produced by Apple?

If you look at the description it says:
This is an aftermarket replacement battery, not an Apple OEM part.
Note: New lithium ion battery shipping regulations limit the quantity and/or shipping methods for orders containing batteries. Domestic orders of three or more batteries will be shipped via UPS Ground. International shipments are limited to two batteries per order. iFixit Customer Support will contact you if your order needs to be modified after it is placed.

Thanks for the answer. I have tried two brands of replacement battery, and none of them can last long. I may need to go to Genius Bar and see if they have new batteries :(
Apple will no longer carry an OEM battery for this machine as they now consider anything 2011 and back as legacy machines and no longer support them.
