after screen replacement the iPhone screen will not turn on

i work in a repair shop and have recently been working on a iphone another shop worked on. they replaced the screen but some how they put in a old battery by mistake during the instillation. We replaced the battery and the screen immediately died. we have replaced the battery with 3 different ones and we have also replaced the screen with two different ones. itunes is picking up the device but the screen will not turn on.

do any of you have any ideas?

Any signs of liquid damage inside the phone particularly near the screen connector area of the logic board?

Have you also tried another charging port assembly / flex (a.k.a charging dock) on the phone?

no liquid damage and we have not tried another charging port assembly.

when you say "We replaced the battery and the screen immediately died", can you explain a bit more?

Have you tried another screen to make sure the screen is not at fault?

Options

Did the back light driver go bad by any chance? Was the battery disconnected before the screen was removed and or when both were re-installed? If you do board-level repairs, it could be a filter problem, IC issue, resistor burnt out, coil damage etc.
