Autumn cleaning disaster iMac mid 2010

Hi guys

I just cleaned my mid 2010 iMac for a first time.

took it all apart cleaned all the parts changed paste on GPU CPU.

And now i have a problems.....

1.Bluetooth doesn't seems to work ( can't connect my wireless keyboard and head phones)

2. in Stat panel I only see CPU Heatsink ( should there be a CPU doe temp??)

3. ODD and CPU fans running full speed ( can not longer control them with FanControl)

On the bright side temps dropped by 10 deg. :D

What would be your "protocol" to undo this disaster ??

Did i connect some sensors plugs inccorectlly ? or it is something more serious?

I would appreciate any help as I am and IT idiot

What did you do on the hard drive? Was it changed? Check to see if the temperature sensor is fully seated into the logic board. (Either will cause run away fan issues.

Did you remove the battery or replace it?

I didn't touch SSD just disconnected from logic. I haven't touched battery. Stranglly after cleaning Mac is running noticeably slower ( lower fps in games) ??

But again Mac is running 10 C cooler with the same settings.

Of course it is running cooler the fans are at full speed. Check to see that the sensors are correctly and fully plugged in.

they were on full speed before cleaning

This machine did not have an SSD. It had a hard drive. Have you changed it?

by

yes but it was done 2 years ago
