How much ram is installed? if that amount is low that might explain it. Of course liquid on the keyboard which might have gone through to the mainboard could be another cause.

16 GB Coirsair RAM. the RAM works fine, installed it some years ago, make a memtest and no errors.

With 16GB this stalling should not happen, then I would more think of a liquid damage.

but 1 1/2 half year later? well I search in other forum and found that some other has similar problems and the hard drive cable was damage, so I will check this and if it is ok then the liquid damage is possible, maybe I should go to an authorized service provider, but thanks for your help

Hope it is the cable

When it comes to the liquid it could be corrosion that works over time.

by

Yeah, I had this problem. only one usb port was working the other one not, I open the cover and see corrosion at the logicboard. I clean it with industrial alcohol and the usb port works. hope it the cable :D
