White screen death after loading MAC OS a little bit

Hello everyone, my lovely macbook pro 17inch 2006 (its almost a classic) can not load Mac Os Lion, It stucks on pure white screen after little bit loading. I tried everything, reset PRAM, SMC Reset, i tried to reach recovery partition but its not installed i think, i was able to start with safe boot but i could not able to re-install lion or recover it.

And then i change the harddisk and tried to install lion with Bootable Harddrive or Retail CD, but as you see in the youtube video, result is same... A ltl bit loading and then flash a white screen.

I dont think that ram's are the problem because computer was start in safe boot...

Any idea?

There were two 17" MacBook Pros introduced in 2006. The first a a Core Duo Processor and mass out at 10.6.8. The second has a core 2 Duo and will take 10.7.5. Which one do you have?

Apple MacBook Pro "Core 2 Duo" 2.33 17" Specs

Core 2 Duo/Late 2006 - MA611LL/A - MacBookPro2,1 - A1212 - N/A

It should take 10.7.5

As there were no Retail Bootable 10.7.5 CDs, what is this?

Personally I'd start with 10.6.8, Reformat the drive and use the "write eros" option tom out any bad blocks. Then install the system, then upgrade it to 10.7.5.

I downloaded 10.7.3 Retail in internet and tried it... Thank you so much i will try to install 10.6.8 then...

I tried to install 10.6.8 but same result again, but, i discover something new, when i press shift key during install loading, i can able to pass that white screen death, and i reach to language select screen, after selecting language, it says that, Mac OS X can't be installed on this computer.

Why i can just can pass the white screen issue press shift key? it is not safe boot, its like "safe install", maybe macbook ignore something when i press the shift, like ram problems, maybe my one of 1gb ram's is death.

I think your problem is with the GPU, I watched rossman on his youtube channel explain how the capacitor of the gpu gives less power, andneeds to be replaced. He called it a kennel Panic....

I have exactly the same model and I have experience the same problem, but the first time. I took out the logic board and roasted the gpu with hot air, it booted, but after some time, when the computer went into sleep mode, the same problem came back.

Now I am taking time to figure out which capacitor that is, then have it replaced and hopefully this time, it won't happen again. I wish I could send you photos of mine,

Bryan
