Can I replace the main wire harness myself

Q link legacy

If I'm having electrical problems due to incompetent mechanic splicing my wire harness in order to get my headlight to work. Now I have no gauges no turn signals and its blowing fuse after fuse won't start, its cheep to order the main wire harness and starter relay, should I undertake replacing the wire harness myself?

At $79 for a new harness, I would do it.
