@gouda just like any other water exposed device you want to follow some simple rules. To start with stop trying to turn it on or to charge it. Remove the battery. then disassemble your device completely. Clean every part with a high grade (90%+) isopropyl alcohol. Do not forget to remove the EMI shields on the motherboard. Clean all the connectors as well. Yes, it is okay to submerge the board in alcohol. When they are properly cleaned, let them airdry for a brief time. Then replace the battery with a new one. These batteries will fail so you will have to replace them for proper trouble shooting. Once you have done all that, reassemble your device and now you can charge it or try to turn it on. Let us know what you get,

The best way to handle this problem is to take apart the device and clean it. Remove the logic board. If you are unsure of how to do this, reference the logic board replacement guide (coming soon). Use 91% Isopropyl Alcohol and a soft brush to clean any corrosion inside the logic board. Allow the logic board to dry in sunlight. Reassemble the device and check to see if it works. If it does not work, you may have to replace the logic board.
