Is reballing bottom RAM slot is a viable solution or not?

As many know bottom RAM slot in this model could be a problem sometimes. Common cause seems to be drops when hot.

Well, does reballing that slot is possible and could be a viable long term solution?

Is it more risk than needed comparing to just be happy with max 8GB for an experienced in reballing repair engineer? I mean if one could easily mess the whole board while trying to fix it?

I'll be happy to see some answer because Google doesn't provide much insights on the topic apart from just use 8GB)

Thank you

Before going to the rebelling attempt (extremely risky), try backing the screws that hold it place off a quarter of a turn each.

Thank you , Mayer for a prompt answer. Mine seems to be beyond this 1/4turn surgery already. It's not helping. From time to time I am able to start it with bottom slot if I push stick out of parallel postion to the slot so it is become a bit angled to the slot but that is all. And even then knoking on slot like here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpagfXra... provides same glitches on the screen.
