Only one external speaker works on my iPhone.

One speaker works when I play music, make a call etc but the other one doesn't.

It's the left speaker that works.

I haven't done anything to it, like get water on it, drop it etc...

Solutions anyone?

It's a 3GS 16GB iPhone.

There is only one speaker. The other "speaker" is really a microphone.

Sadly, when the iPhone 1st generation came out, I was at an Apple store. A memo came through telling the Genii to stop replacing iPhones for this "issue."
