Problem formatting Samsung 750 EVO 120 GB SSD

Hello There,

I have a question and I'm deep into trouble!

So my laptop's hard drive died for some reason, today I bought a new Samsung 750 EVO 120 GB SSD. I installed it into my computer, then went to recovery mode and disk utility, tried to erase but got an error telling me that it has failed to erase, then I went to make a partition, I selected GUID option and still it couldn't mount the partition, its says can't mount partition named blah, blah ...

After erase. now I'm stuck here and I don't know what should I do, I have an other iMac which I'm using,

Please do let me know if there are any other options that I use so I can fix my laptop,

It's a MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012)

Please help me out Dan. @danj or any other guy who can help me, I really need your help!

Sincerely.

Apple is replacing, for free, the hard drive IR cables on this particular model. I would have that checked first before spending any money at an ASP or Apple store. Call first before going to the store as Apple is not telling people about this that I know of and make sure the store is aware of the replacement program.

thank you! hopefully they'ill agree on that and change it for free.

An ASP has a monetary incentive to help as Apple pays them to do it.
