Jacob, Shift solenoids B,C are located on the outside of the transmission case see 2nd link for testing info. You should change your trans. fluid if it looks poor. as it could be the problem. P0780 indicates a shift solenoid malfunction but it could possibly be caused by, low transmission fluid level, dirty transmission fluid, faulty shifting solenoid valve, shifting solenoid valve harness is open or shorted, shifting solenoid valve circuit bad electrical connection. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck.

It is in the valve body of the transmission behind the pan. Better get a professional to change it.

But they are not inside on a honda. They all bolt on the outside and are rather easy to change. The filter is inside the trans.

Actually the first answer was right. The shift solenoids on Honda transmissions are on the outside. But if the car does not want to shift first thing is the check the fluid color, odor, and level. If it's black or brown and smells burnt that's not good and it could possibly be something internal screwing up the solenoid. The cheapest easiest way to fix the solenoid would be a junk yard. A Trans shop will charge you a lot and usually will want to change the whole tranny and not just 1 part.
