When you turn the dial at the front the mechanism drops stopping the mixer low speeds but works at high speed. Is this something I can fix and if so how?

Hi sadly it's not a speed thing, the whole mechanism drops and wobbles around at low speed but not when you turn it to high. The wobbling cause the mixer to stop working. Has anyone seen this and if so what is the fix.
