Very Slow and Beachballing

I replaced the Harddrive with a 1T SSD, upgraded RAM to 16GB, and freshly installed a clean boot of ElCapitan. But it's still slow and beachballing.

Any ideas on what to do next?

Replace the original drive, do not mention the you've been into it. Take it to Apple or an ASP (preferred as they have a financial incentive, Apple will pay them), and ask the to replace the hard drive/IR cable for free.

I decided to try swaping a hard drive cable from another macbook I had with my laptop. It works amazingly! Thanks for your help.

They should have the cable in stock.
