new display works for 1 second and then goes off

Replaced cracked display screen with new one.

When booting up I have a black screen.

Using flash light I can see graphics or text only for a short time.

Installed new inverter board.

Now when I boot up screen is still black but when I touch spacebar for example screen comes on perfectly for 1 second and then shuts off. I pressed the number lock button and Caps lock button because they light up . Noticed lights shut soon after and noticed sleep light goes on.

Can you identify the problem? Please help. Its annoying when you have only a perfect screen for 1 second.

Options

is changing the sleep settings (energy saver) may solve this by target booting your Mac and copying over the .plist files from another machine running the same OS set to disable password, disable "put the hard disks to when possible", disable hibernation (set battery and screen to "Never"). .

BAD NEWS is if that doesn't you could have a hardware problem in one or all of the logic board, magsafe connector, or the battery connector sleep switch.
