Why is my screen flickering?

The screen of my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge continually flickers and shows big green lines across the bottom after approximately 15 minutes of use. When I put the phone down for a while and leave it, the screen seems to have 'fixed itself.' Soon afterwards, the flickering starts again. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks :)

Hi,

More than likely OLED screen damage from a possible drop.

If it hasn't been dropped, then I would take it to your closest official Samsung store for a warranty exchange. :-)

What if your phone didn't drop? Because mine didn't. It was sitting on my bed without me even touching it when it suddenly started flickering. What could this be? Is it a software issue or hardware damage? I literally did nothing to it and it started. Please help!
