Battery discharging from 100% to 0% within a few hours

As the title really, I've got a problem with an iPhone 4S where the battery will fully drain from a full charge within a couple of hours. I have tried a full factory reset eliminating the software and replaced the battery and still no fix.

I'm thinking this may be a hardware issue, could it be one of the ICs need replacing?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

This is just an issue with older batteries in an iPhone 4S. It is relatively easy to replace the battery. You can buy a replacement kit from iFixIt here iPhone 4S Replacement Battery

If you get lost during the process you can follow this video. (This is not my video but I looked at it and it is a good guide.) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJud8Hlr...

As you can see the replacement kit from iFixit is relatively cheap. You don't have much to lose even if it doesn't 100% solve your problem but from my experience, I would say that you just need a new battery.

I have already replaced the battery.

I also don't think the ifixit battery is anywhere as good as an original iphone battery. For the first few months, the ifixit battery lasted. But now, after just a few hours and not doing anything, it has dropped 20% and will be completely out by evening even without using it.

I think IFIXIT does not sell their batteries on Amazon because they know they don't last.

down another 10% in under an hour on wireless and doing nothing.
