iPhone not charging on power?

Hello ,

I have Iphone 4 , the problem is in that when i connect the charger with , it keeps draining the battery ( on connecting charger battery drains) I check that the battery is ok..and charger also because i have another iphone 4 so...I check it by this. On My another Iphone battery is charging and charger is working.

please tell me the solution of this.

Have you tried charging it while the iPhone is turned off? (Plug in first then turn off phone)

Anyway, you most likely have to change the charger port to fix this problem.

Additionally you can check if iTunes application on a computer recognises the phone.

You can also try another battery as well as I have seen a faulty battery cause this issue as well.

I did all the things..

I replaced the charging dock connector but still the same problem

the iphone is recognised by the Itunes and even i also format and restore it but nothing happen.

Hello @yg2607 did you try simply replacing the battery itself?

Cell phone batteries have a lifetime of two to three years or about 300-500 charging cycles. After this, they will need to be replaced.
