Have you tried charging it while the iPhone is turned off? (Plug in first then turn off phone)

Anyway, you most likely have to change the charger port to fix this problem.

Additionally you can check if iTunes application on a computer recognises the phone.

You can get the charging dock connector replacement from here: iPhone 4 (GSM/AT&T) Dock Connector

Guide on how to replace it: iPhone 4 Dock Connector Replacement

You can also try another battery as well as I have seen a faulty battery cause this issue as well.

I did all the things..

I replaced the charging dock connector but still the same problem

the iphone is recognised by the Itunes and even i also format and restore it but nothing happen.

Its discharging

Hello @yg2607 did you try simply replacing the battery itself?

Cell phone batteries have a lifetime of two to three years or about 300-500 charging cycles. After this, they will need to be replaced.

I replace the battery also...still same problem
