Why are some buttons not working
Some of my buttons are not working - like the numeric 5 button, the exhaust fan, and the STOP/Clear button
Is this a good question?

Unplug it for 15 minutes to allow it to reset. If the problem persists please give us your model number and I'll look at it further.

Cause 1
Touchpad and Control Panel
To determine if the touchpad and control panel are defective, try pressing each of the buttons on the control panel. If some of the buttons respond correctly while others don’t, replace the touchpad and control panel.

i have a gc but it works except the number buttons
Pearlita, see the 3 causes right above your question.
Samsung mw73ad-b/xtl . Only clock button and its minute & hour button respond. The minutes and hour button serve the dual purpose of setting time for 1 minute or 10 minutes. They do not respond except while setting time. Rest of the buttons are not responding
I’ve replaced my control panel and touch pad and still have buttons that don’t respond the main one being the start button. Is there anything else that can control this?

It may not be necessary to replace the touchpad and the control panel. You can take a blow dryer move it back-and-forth over the pads that don’t work, and keep pressing the pad up and down. they may come unstuck. This has worked for mine on several occasions. What happens is when you’re cooking the grease Will cause them to stick over time. Give it a try before you throw everything away.

Why is my microwave #2 button say #3 when I press as wrong number? Also when I press auto reheat button it automatically go to potato mode instead of castrolle. Since #2 button said #3, I cannot set time as pm anymore. Just started this issues a month ago. I unplugged and plugged it back on and still have issues. Any suggestions? Please.
