MacBook is not starting now after removing and re-installing battery.

I was searching for an answer for a frequent message that "are you sure you want to shut down your computer now". I followed the step and removed battery and then replugged it as it was. But now MacBook won't start or power on. Please help.

Thanks for the quick reply. I had already done the first part of holding the power button for 10 sec but that didn't helped. I have also cleaned all the connectors and have been charging the battery for almost 1 hour but nothing seems to be working. Prior to that it was working fine. Please help me.

The message is normal and should not be worried about. Remove the battery and the AC charger and hold down the start button for 10 seconds. The attach the AC charger and try starting. Next replace the battery and check to see that you didn't damage the battery pins and that they are clean. Allow the battery to charge for thirty minutes.
