Why my iPhone is overheating after screen replacement?

After screen replacement, the iPhone gets very, VERY hot in matter of minutes. Also both cameras are not working. Camera App shows only a black screen. The battery is also new, purchased from iFixit. I have "restored" the old-cracked screen and the same behavior is shown. It is possible that the motherboard was damaged in the process. How? It is possible to repair this?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I think I figured out what was going on...

It seems that the rear camera was causing the problem. I have discovered that the region where the rear camera is located was very hot. So I decided to take off the camera and reassemble all the phone without it. The phone is not overheating anymore, also the front camera is working now.

I have fully charged without a problem and the device temperature was OK.

I don't know what caused the camera to fail, but for now I'd prefer to have a phone without camera instead a "burning brick".

I hope this could help anyone.

Thanks.
