How do I replace my iPhone 6s rear camera lens?

I have got as far as to removing the camera internally, leaving me with the lens left to remove but it simply wont budge !

There is all but one tutorial on youtube but even that doesn't show how to actually remove the lens itself.

Most guides I have read online say to push it out with a pen/pry from the rear with a razor but both don't seem to work atall it wont budge !

Someone please help,

Max

The actual clip (camera holder), that sits between the lens and the camera itself is connected to the lens.

I used the trick with the razor, like on previous models such as the iPhone 6, to get the lens out, but it seems that the clip and the lens are now one piece, making it much harder to pry out the lens . Still possible though.

Don't pry too hard using the razor as it will bend the clip that the camera is held in.

I used adhesive to keep the new lens in place, inserting the clip after. They are now two separate pieces.

Much harder to replace the lens on the iPhone 6s/plus than the iPhone 6.

From what I know about iPhone 6, the lens is glued onto the bezel, the bezel is spot welded onto the case.

Sufficient force should pull the lens off the bezel, or the welding will break and the entire bezel will come off.

The same should also apply to iPhone 6s. If not working, you can replace the case altogether.
