audio jack "stuck", red light on!

i was trying to sting the red light "sensor" (it's a little pin of the audio jack) with a needle, it works for me like 3 months, but i have a friend who loves the wired headphones, aaaand my audio it's down again.

does someone knows how to kill the optical audio, without kill the audio jack?

like cut a pin and let the audio jack and internal speakers working.

please, help, i really love my mac

Hey there, have you tried this?

1) Plug in headphones or external speakers into the line-out jack

2) Shut down the computer

3) Perform an SMC with the speakers still plugged into the jack

4) Boot up

5) Disconnect speakers

SMC? , the weirdest thing is: this problem solves itself when the battery dies and i conect the AC and reboot the mac, but the problem still there when i plug in my headphones o.O
