Coffee unaffected logic board sticky non-funtional keyboard

I have managed to spill 1/4 cup of coffee (no sugar) onto my MacBook Air keyboard.

The computer is functioning fine except the keyboard, most keys not responding and it turns itself off, shift and cantle key get stuck. I am using bluetooth keyboard for now.

After I bought the pentalope screwdrivers and took apart and checked the back of computer and the logic board, it appears that liquid did got there.

Is there a way to clean keyboard without re-soaking in water and drying? What is the best what to clean it?

There is two ways you can attack this the quick easy way, but expensive or the hard way which would be cheaper and may not fix things.

The easy way is to just replace the MacBook Air 11" (Mid 2011) Upper Case with Keyboard following this IFIXIT guide: MacBook Air 11" Mid 2011 Upper Case Replacement

Or the hard way is to follow the same guide as above but take the keyboard apart to manually clean things with distilled water and a good grade of isopropyl alcohol (85% or better) to help dry things afterwards. Here's a Vid on the process: Replace liquid damaged keyboard of 2011 Apple Macbook Air. Even after cleaning you may find things are to far gone to recover the keyboard.

I needed to buy keyboard backlight ($20 on ebay) instead of new computer as suggested by Apple sales tech. One weekend of tinkering. Thank you for such in-depth guides.
