My phone will not turn on

i replaced my battery and put it back together. i noticed the home button was not working so i opened it up again and i fixed it. when i tried to turn on my phone nothing would happen. i made sure all things were connected and that it wasnt the lcd that was bad. please help i have tried everything and nothing works

Have you tried combination of power button and home button?

Did you try unplugging the battery and reseating the front panel ribbon connectors?

Make sure you unplug battery first before replugging front panel connectors plug battery in last.

It sounds like you may have just gotten a defective battery

One thing to check...try using a small metal probe to "short" the two small contacts that the home button makes contact with on the charging port and try the solution that Raj Patel suggested. Typically, a hard reset makes everything better. If that doesn't work, I agree with Lukemacias1998 in that you might have just gotten a bad battery

Oh, you did try to charge the battery before trying to turn the phone on, right? It might just need to be charged.
