My console switches off
Hi Guy's
I have a fat PS3 and lately it has been switching off as i'm trying to play a game or watch a dvd ca you please help me in this matter?

That is very unfortunate to hear. It sounds as if the power supply is starting to show signs of age. I'd suggest you replace the power supply. iFixit does not sell the Fat PS3 Power Supply, but here is a link to iFixit's guide in replacing it - PlayStation 3 Power Supply Replacement
Look over it and if you feel you can do it give it a try! Be CAUTIOUS as you will be working with a lot of wires.
