Do I need to get a lcd or just glass

I have a Galaxy S5 that I shattered. It is kind of weird what it is doing. The screen is completely black when it is "turned on" and when it is off. I can unlock it with my fingerprint and even type! I can't see what I'm doing. I just feel vibrations whenever I do stuff. What do I need and need to do to fix it?

Well if you can't see what's on the screen, then you need a new LCD. Even if it was just the glass that was broken and everything else worked fine, I would never recommend doing a glass only repair. They're typically crap repairs and don't last for very long. Price wise they seem to make sense, but the phone was never designed to have that done to it.
