I dropped galaxy5 i paid 200 to replace the screen. It keeps shutting off and has a purlple grey color

If the display was working flawlessly after the repair was completed and just stopped working after a week, I would say there is a chance that either the display connector may not have been seated properly or the screen could be defective. There are many vendors the supply these replacement parts and unfortunately they are not all of high quality. If there is no physical damage to the screen assembly, I would bring the device back to were it was repaired sooner than later and see if they could reseat the cable for you or replace it on warranty if they have one. Best of luck

Thats how it seems it was great then it flashed a purple screen it ssems like its not connected but another screen at store worked but they said they had to reorder it what would cause it to do this
