Home button issue after screen replacement

I'm working on an iPhone 5s screen replacement. After the replacement the home button stopped working but the Touch ID works just fine.. Possible issues??

Could be a damaged cable, could be you have the plate, on the back of the home button, on upside down, or even the wrong screws

I have fixed about 15 iPhone 5s and this is the first time I've ran into this. Everything is placed properly.

Then I would suggest damage to the cable

I'm having the same issue. Ive tried multiple new home buttons. Everything is properly seated and the cover on. Any guesses?

Well damage to the Lightning dock could be another option

Changed the charging port and that fixed it.
