Lock Symbol Next to my wireless network? Cannot connect to router?

Hi.

I have been having this issue for awhile now.

There is a lock symbol next to my network SSID in my Vizio smart T.V. network panel.

I cannot seem to access my home network via wireless using my Vizio E420i_a0 smart television.

I have connected previously using a powerline adapter, so the television is up-to-date.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Late response, but I think there is an issue connecting to this particular smart T.V. when the SSID is not broadcasting.

The lock symbol usually means that the connection is secure and needs a password. What happens when you try to connect to the network?

Would the answer be in the user manual? http://cdn.vizio.com/documents/downloads...

Mine is same way and it's a Visio.

I unplugged it for a minute and it started working but I've got to do it every couple days. Tv in other rooms are fine. They're not Vizio's.
