Why am I not getting a picture

So I replaced my lcd on my iPad 4 everything seem to went well the first time but I noticed parts of the screen wasn't working so I took it apart again but this time when I reassembled it the lcd turned on but it was a dim black light and it wasn't showing no picture I'm not sure what to do please help

Hi,

Have you tried restarting with the lock and home button?

If that doesn't work, check you have connected everything correctly.

If none of this helps, you have more than likely blown the backlight, you will need to know how to microsolder to fix this issue. :-)
