First remove the upper air chamber then remove the fuel rails and injectors make sure you have drained the engine coolant completely before unbolting the intake then once the coolant is out remove the bolts that secure the intake and pry from a corner to break the seal of the old gasket. If you go to youtube you can usually find all sorts of videos on this. As Im not sure on the engine or year I cant show a specific video

For some reason I have a that goes right through the lower intake manifold, how do I remove the valve to take off manifold?

@mr_dawsey it would be good to have your exact engine and year, it seems that there should be videos on YouTube according to the previous posts, good luck.
