Early 2014 MacBook Air SSD in late 2013 21.5" iMac?

Hi,

I pulled the SSD from a damaged early 2014 macbook air and put it in another to confirm it works. I have a late 2013 21.5" iMac that has the pcie ssd slot but it's not used. I'd like to put the ssd in the iMac and create a fusion drive. Can this be done? The model for the SSD is a Toshiba THNSN2128GSPS.

Thanks!
