Can I clean or open my trackpad?

The right side of my trackpad is not working properly. It's as if there's something slightly blocking it.

Most of the time the pad works fine, but at some point the pad start dragging as if you're holding down the right side.

The top appears clean.

I disassembled the battery but i didn't find any dirt. The battery isn't bulged.

And when i hold the entire case up-side-down the clicking on the right-side is still bad.

The problem does however mostly start occurring while using safari (with hyves or facebook). I think the problem is hardware related, but i hope it's a software glitch.

Any help and/or advice would be appreciated.
