Just replaced battery, why isn't it turning on?
I just followed the online guide to replace the battery in my iPod, now it won't turn on. I plugged it into my Mac via the USB cable and got nothing. It doesn't appear to want to charge, recognize the device or anything. I'm about to tear back into it and check my connections, but I fear that somehow it's now a paperweight. Any help?

Is this a good question?

Here's what would be great. Is there a way for me to test the battery connections via a continuity test? Is there a picture or a wiring diagram/schematic out there somewhere for me to reference?

Just plugged it into the wall via AC USB adapter. Now it turns on and works just fine so long as it's plugged in. So, the circuitry is fine, it's just a battery connection issue.
I'm still looking for a continuity test for the battery to make sure the connections are straight before I have to go and re-assemble the whole thing. I've found continuity checkpoints for the left and center pads, but not the positive (+) right pad. Any suggestions, anyone?

Where did you buy this battery from?

I got the battery from this site. It's the logic board, not the battery. Problem understood, but not solved.
