Why are the ovens staying hot while they are turned off?

Ovens are used at local church maybe 4 times a year. Why are the ovens staying hot while they are turned off? Just noticed they were hot while cleaning.

Would the thermostat control go bad on both ovens at once? Model# VG 260. Serv.# 481388329.

In both ovens. They are not hot enough to cook anything, but too hot to touch. It has 6 burners & a griddle. All pilots are lit. The bottom plates are very hot.

Can you give me a model number? The temperature control thermostat might be at fault. The temperature control thermostat cannot easily be tested. If you suspect the thermostat is defective, replace it.

Here's the service manual on it: https://my.vulcanfeg.com/resourcecenter/...

Take a look and see just how high the pilot lights are burning.
