Yes. I can probably fix it. the problem is cost vs value of the machine. Follow this guide by Old Turkey to let us see just how bad it is: Adding images to an existing question

Well that machine has certainly seen better days. It appears to need a complete over haul. Why would you want want to spend the kind of money it will take to rebuild a 2004 machine. Looks like you will need a display, upper case, possible battery, possibly a keyboard. I probably have one in stock. Does it even boot up? Do you need the data off the hard drive? But to answer your question, yes I can restore it.

That great news to hear. I would like to be able to keep all data on the hard drive basically every thing thats on the computer I want to keep . the reason why I need it fixed is it has all lot of sentimental value. Yes it does boot up and makes the usual sound when it comes. Still need that quote off you please

click on my icon for location and email address. Lubbock, TX. I get them mailed to me from all over the world. The farthest away was Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia so far. $55.00 Fed Ex Shipping cost. I take PayPal. Last week was a 128K MacPlus from Virginia. Google mac repair & lubbock for my reviews on Thumbtack.

Man that's a messed up computer... But I agree with the "Mayer", is it worth it? If all you need the the stuff of the drive I would say get a new computer (probably around the same price as fixing that one) and just getting the HDD from the old Mac and getting an external enclosure for it to get all the stuff off of it and onto the new one...
