Intunes firmware error -1

When I turn the iphone on it says I have to connect it to iTunes I can't do anything else, then when I connect it to itunes it says restore iphone and firmware so I do that and it says error 1 cant restore?

Well, first try another cord. Then try updating iTunes. Then check your security software
