disc drive does not read game disc
The disc drive only reads movies and music cds, but not game disc.

Your disc drive likely just needs a new laser. You can find those on Ebay, Amazon, etc. If you prefer you can always just replace the whole drive but be sure to swap the green PCB on the top of the drive to the new one.

This will happen if you replace the drive without re-writing the original drive key into the drive. Currently it is not possible to hack the drive so you need to take the controller board from the original drive and swap into the new drive.
