Trying to install Dual Drive

I got a Kingston 120GB SSD and I bought a Dual Drive Kit with all the tools and a cable to do the job. I was following the instructions that came with the kit, and when I tried to pull out the logic board with the appropriate toll that came with the kit, but it was very hard to make it move forward, I had to apply too much force, and only the left side moved about 2mm, but the right side don't. The impression was that the logic board was fixed in the right side. I watched the movie showing the procedure and the guy pulls the logic board forward without forcing the tool. I did not succeeded to install my SSD, I was afraid to continue and damage my Mini.

I ask, what must be happening with my logic board. If a can't pull it a little I do not be able to install my SSD.

You may want to review the IFIXIT guide here: Installing Mac Mini Late 2012 Dual Hard Drive Kit.

Are you sure you disengaged the DC-In cable from the logic board as outlined in Step16?

Sliding the logic board out can be tricky! It does not take brute force! If you have already forced it you may have damaged things. The first 1/8th of an inch out can be tight as the grounding clips tend to grab the shell a bit.
