Old question, however for anyone else experiencing this rather inane design mistake from Sony:
The issue is the sensor and contact inside the front of the PS4. The touch sensitive button is not broken as it is not a moving part. The sensor and metal contact are telling the brain to eject.
The answer is to place a piece of insulating tape across the sensor (gold rectangle). This will prevent the PS4 ejecting the disc and disable the eject button.
To eject after doing this go into home screen. Highlight a game that you play (any game) from a disc NOT a download.
Next push OPTIONS and the menu appears on the right, now highlight 'remove disc' and select with X. I have done this and it works without fail and I am on my 4th PS4.
BUT if you have a warranty you may as well use your consumer rights.
