can a logic board with a 2.5 processor replace the board with a 2.6 processor where both are for the A1261 macbook pro ?

Yes, but why? Surely not for a speed increase. If you want speed get a backward compatible to SATA 1, SSD drive or a SSHD drive and take it to 6GB of RAM.
