My replacement phone screen problems

So I recently replaced my phone screen and it works great! Except for when I actually push the screen in. Whenever I start to push the screen in to put in the bottom screws, the screen starts to change colors and eventually just completely glitch out. Without the screen fully intact, it's perfect. How can I fix this? I will add that when I had replacing it I broke the home button but I'm not sure if that would affect the screen. Also I already had to replace the flex cable, to make the screen work because I broke that too.

If you put the home button bracket on backwards, it would only affect the home button. What.. What do you mean you broke the flex cable? Which one? Sounds to me like you have a faulty, or damaged display on your hands. You should be able to exchange it for a working display, from wherever you purchased it from
