Microwave wont shut off when you close the door
GE model jeb100b when you close the door the microwave stays on. When you open it it shuts off but light stays on

Is there still time left on the cooking cycle? That could be why it still runs when the door is shut. Clear the time for the cooking first before re-closing the door (the off or clear button). It is good that it shut off when the door is open it is supposed to because it is a safety feature. The light stays on when the door is open it is supposed to.
