My macbook cannot boot when press power key (black screen, no backlight).

Is there any problem about hard ware ?

Options

It means it isn't reading your Hard Drive. Was your unit dropped or any water spilled on it?

It would light up the screen before checking the hard drive...

My guess is that it's stuck on S5 state, or no power at all (fuse?)

Knowing if the charger has a green or orange light when plugged in would help...
