Efi update failed MacBook air

Hi Guys Another Question.I have a macbook air mid 2013,last night i tried to do an efi update,everything went fine then suddenly the machine went off.now all i can hear is the fan spins up every 2 seconds nothing else :( thanks for the help

Can you point out which update and where you got it.

it seems to be okay now,it was the efi update 2.8,did a few smc resets and suddenly the machine booted up again
