I was watching videos on Youtube and when I turned of my phone I can here the charging sound when you plug it in and I can hear it but the screen dosen't work and its just black

Try holding the home button and power button together for around ten seconds and hopefully the Apple logo should appear. If that doesn't work then you can try either disconnecting and reconnecting battery , or if you don't want to open the phone, just wait for the phones battery to completely discharge. So you may have to wait a day or more before putting back on charge .
