Losing date and time when main battery removed

When I recharge my battery the camera loses the date and time. All other functions appear to work. When the date and time is reset it is correct until the battery is removed again. Can this be fixed easily?

There is a tiny watch size battery cell on power board, top right side (view from LCD side) under top cover. Little challenge to replace as it's really small and It is welded to a two flat steel lines (not soldered). Not sure the voltage as mine is also dead and shows 0.6v and it has no any markings on it. Could be around 1.5v but can also be a 3v. But seems that there is an extra room around for a larger size cell may fit.

See if there is an additional CMOS battery that would handle that.

There's no mention whatsoever of an additional CMOS battery in the user manual, so most likely if there is one it's not user replaceable...

I read in another forum that the camera may only charge this "time keeper" battery while on, so leaving it on with no sleep mode and the LCD off overnight mat be enough to charge up the tiny internal battery.

This seems to work for me, but would most likely need a few more months to validate (on a next vacation) :-)
