LG G3 microphone works when it wants to.

I noticed that Google now was not picking up my voice or sometimes when people called me they couldn't hear me but I could hear them clearly or like when I would record a video it would come out with poppy audio or muffled audio and that was when it feeled like working that is another problem is would work when it felt like it and if someone could please tell me where the microphone module is located I would greatly appreciate it.

The microphone is soldered to the logic board for the LG G3 so it won't be easy to fix.

the microphone is on the charging port flex cable at the bottom of the phone. You must replace the charging port to get a new microphone. My guess is there is some connection issue inside the phone.

What tools would be required to do so?

Please link to the part with the microphone on the charging port. Doing quick Google image search of LG G3 logic board shows that it is soldered onto the logic board. Which is not easily replacable and requires soldering tools and a heatgun to remove usually.
