Potential Logic board swap advice

Hey guys, I recently purchased an iPhone 4s from a friend of mine (only paid 20$ for it), and am going to be doing quite a few repairs on it (new screen, and it even needed new screws). Originally I purchased it with the hope of using it on the FreedomPop network, but unfortunately I cannot. Then I came up with the idea of doing a logic board swap. I need the iPhone to be on the sprint network, and I noticed I can pickup an iPhone 4s 16GB logic board for a decent price. I am wondering if I switch the logic board with the sprint one, will I then be able to activate it on the FreedomPop network? The iPhone is currently locked with Verizon.

P.S. to use FreedomPop the phone needs to be locked with Sprint, so in theory this would work. Any advice is welcome.

Thanks in Advance,

Andrew

You could get in contact with the network that the current logic board is locked to and request it be uncooked from their network. If they allow it, it could be cheaper and easier than swapping the logic board.
